DELF B1 Test Paper 2

Sections in the Test

Each test paper is divided into the official 3 sections:

1. Compréhension de l’oral (Listening): Answer multiple-choice or short-answer questions that assess your understanding of the main ideas, details, and implied meaning.
2. Compréhension des écrits (Reading): answer comprehension questions based on global understanding, specific information, and inference.
3. Production écrite (Writing): Complete structured writing tasks. These may include formal letters, argumentative essays, and opinion-based texts.
4. Production orale (Speaking): You will need to record and upload your speaking responses based on the given prompts

Speaking Test (Production Orale)

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!

Total Duration: 7 minutes

• Preparation Time: 2 minutes
• Speaking Time: 4 minutes
• Upload Time: 1 minute

Instructions for Recording Your Speaking Response

1. When you are ready to speak, click the “Start Recording” button.
2. Speak continuously for the allotted time specified for the task.
3. Once you have finished speaking, click the “Stop Recording” button.
4. Next, ensure you click the “Submit” button to upload your recording.
5. Once your recording is “Audio Upload Success“, click the “Finish Quiz” button to complete the task.

Points to note:

1. If you do not click “Submit,” your recording will not be uploaded, and you will not receive marks for this task.
2. Make sure your browser has permission to access your microphone. If prompted, allow the browser to use your microphone to record audio successfully.

Make sure to follow these steps carefully to have your speaking response properly submitted and evaluated.

Important Instructions

• The exam is taken online, so please ensure:
  • A stable internet connection.
  • A quiet space, free from distractions.
  • Your device (laptop/PC/tablet) is fully charged.
  • You have headphones (for speaking sections).
• Duration:
  • B1 Test: Approximately 1 hour (7 minutes for Speaking, 45 minutes for Reading Writing Listening)
• Use of external help or translation tools is not allowed.
