DELF B2 Test Paper 1

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU APPEAR FOR THE TEST.

Sections in the Test

Each test paper is divided into the official 4 sections:

1. Compréhension de l’oral (Listening): Answer multiple-choice or short-answer questions that assess your understanding of the main ideas, details, and implied meaning.
2. Compréhension des écrits (Reading): answer comprehension questions based on global understanding, specific information, and inference.
3. Production écrite (Writing): Complete structured writing tasks. These may include formal letters, argumentative essays, and opinion-based texts.
4. Production orale (Speaking): You will need to record and upload your speaking responses based on the given prompts

Production Orale (Speaking)

A test counsellor will contact you within 24 hours to schedule your speaking test on a live video call.
If you do not hear from us within 24 hours, please send an email to 📧 admin@frenchclass.in with your name and test level (DELF A1).

Production Écrite (Writing)

Submission Guidelines

• You may type your answer to the question in the text box provided.
• If you are unable to type in French, write your response on a piece of paper, take a clear photograph, and upload the image in PNG, JPG, DOCX or PDF format.
• Please ensure your photo is easy to read; submissions with unclear content will not be graded.

Test Duration – 30 minutes

• Writing: 25 minutes
• Uploading: 5 minutes

Please make sure you finish the quiz within the allotted time limit.

Important Instructions

• The exam is taken online, so please ensure:
  • A stable internet connection.
  • A quiet space, free from distractions.
  • Your device (laptop/PC/tablet) is fully charged.
  • You have headphones (for speaking sections).
• Duration:
  • B2 Test: Approximately 1.5 hours (10 for Speaking, 25 for Writing, 15 for Reading and 15 minutes for listening)
• Use of external help or translation tools is not allowed.
